With the upcoming launch of the new consoles, there is growing concern that old USB headsets are no longer compatible. Astro is now giving the all-clear on some models via Twitter.

As far as USB and wireless headsets are concerned, there are definitely doubts as to whether and which devices will also do their job properly on the upcoming consoles, especially since the Astro headsets cost a lot of money and it would be a shame if they were no longer usable .
Noble headset manufacturer Astro has now given the all-clear via Twitter, because apparently a solution is already being worked on so that your expensive roaring stirrups do not have to go to the attic.
Accordingly, the widely used and popular Astro A20, Astro A50 with base station and the MixAmp Pro TR will receive firmware updates before the launch of the Xbox Series X, which should ensure compatibility. Both surround sound and voice chat via USB should remain fully functional and you do not have to buy new headsets.
