Northern Michigan tree identification
Right now, I'm pretty amateur at identifying different types of trees and as it is Early Spring here in Northern Michigan, it is hard to identify tree types by their leaves, because there are none.. So I resort to identifying trees by their bark. From what I've seen - to me, this looks like some...- Thread

Why do you choose McCulloch?
What draws people to McCulloch saws?I've ran Homelite, Poulan, Stihl, Lombard (Knock Off), etc, and so on, but nothing matches the experience that McCulloch gives. For me, especially, it's the 10-10 series. With the double louvered muffler.... It is louder than all hell. I love it. I can...- Thread

Dynamark 39 CC Chainsaw??
This is my brother in law's saw. It is a Dynamark 39CC saw. Not a whole lot of information on similar saws anywhere. I've seen in other threads that this saw is basically a rebadged Lombard saw. Any Saw Collectors up Michigan way?
Just wondering if there are any chainsaw collectors around my neck of the woods. I'm up in Manistee County, MI. I'm starting a collection myself. Mostly 70s Macs. I can't be the only one around here with the Yellow Fever. But if you collect any type and live nearby, gimmie a shout.- Thread

Montgomery ward (Mac pm610) gets a supercharger upgrade
Here's my progress so far on my Mc Culloch 610 supercharger project. A complete guess as to what the saw will do or if it will even run, but I am optimistic. How to Adjust the Oiler on a McCulloch Chainsaw. McCulloch chain saws, like all other chain saws, require continuous lubrication during use to prevent the chain from catching on the wood being cut. The manual for that chainsaw requires a 20:1 mixture of non-McCulloch two-cycle oil. Per gallon of unleaded gasoline regardless of what it says on the oil container. Listed below is a amazing picture for mcculloch fuel line diagram. We have been looking for this image throughout on-line and it originate from reputable resource.

I recently bought an old McCulloch Power Mac 380 (18') for $25. Thought I would use it for some light work firewood cutting. It actually doesn't cut to bad.
#1 What is the fuel mix ratio on this saw?
#2 The saw has a manual oiler (kind of a pain). I run out of oil before I run out of gas, so I am assuming I'm pumping the oiler too much. How often should I hit the oiler?
#3 Can one still get parts for this saw? It could use a new air filter and the nut for the plastic filter cover is missing.
#4 Anyone have a service manual for this saw I might be able to download?
Thanks,
Mike
